Your role
As Senior Financial/Fiscal Controller, you will play a key role in securing and strengthening the financial foundation of our organization. You will oversee all financial and fiscal operations, ensure compliance and transparency, and support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Safeguard and optimize the financial and fiscal interests of the organization and its shareholders.
- Supervise external financial partners (accountants, tax advisors) and ensure high-quality reporting and compliance.
- Review and consolidate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Act as a financial sparring partner for management and project leads — turning numbers into strategy.
- Manage liquidity and cash flow forecasting.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities, and implement innovative solutions — including the use of AI-driven tools to enhance reporting and control.
- Provide clear, timely information and advice to the management team and shareholders.
What you bring

Professionalism
- Academic degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in a senior controlling role.
- Affinity with fiscal matters and risk management; experience in a family office or investment-driven environment is a plus.
- Curious about technological innovation and data-driven finance — you’re open to applying AI tools to optimize processes.
Communication
- Communicates clearly and proactively, both internally and externally.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate data into actionable insights.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
